Volunteer day

In 2012, the Unipetrol Group organized its first two Volunteer Days. The first of these took place at the end of May and the second one was at the beginning of November. Volunteer Days present our employees with a unique opportunity to spend a working day outside of their regular workplace, specifically, in a nonprofit organization. These organizations need help with work they are not able to do themselves or work, for which they do not have sufficient finances. We pay our employees for their volunteer work as for any standard working day.

Employees of the Unipetrol Group worked for the Most Regional Charity (in the “Family in Distress” center), Arkádia (in the protected workshop in Bystřany), the children’s home in Hora Sv. Kateřiny and the Krušnohoří Rehabilitation Foundation.
