Prague, June 28 2016 – Unipetrol RPA, participating in Sodexo Employer of the Year award for the first time ever, found itself in the forefront of the ranking evaluating Czech employers.  Unipetrol also succeeded in the Ústí Region and among university students who elected it the most preferred employer in the region.

Unipetrol ranked 7th among the employers in the Czech Republic and second in the Ústí region in the category with fewer than five thousand employees. All participants of the Employer of the Year award were assessed on the basis of a questionnaire which took into accounts aspects such as financial health of companies, labor productivity or the ability to invest in the employees and reward them, not only financially but also through other benefits.  The questionnaire was prepared and provided data were processed by PwC Czech Republic consulting firm.

 

Unipetrol Group employs nearly 4,500 people in the Czech Republic, more than half of them in the Ústí Region where it is among the largest employers. Together with its employees it is involved in the activities aiming to improve their surroundings. The activities organized by the company for their employees are for eg. volunteer days or Fulfilled Wishes collection, the proceeds of which go primarily to support children in the Ústí, Central Bohemian and Pardubice Regions.
