Update of the Investment Plan for 2007 and Results of the Partnership program in 2006
Planned UNIPETROL‘s CAPEX reaches some CZK 5,7bn in 2007. Out of this, UNIPETROL will invest approximately CZK 3bn in the extension of CHEMOPETROL’s manufacturing capacities, mainly the polypropylene and ethylene units, while another CZK 1bn will facilitate enhancement of the refining capacity in Litvínov and Kralupy refineries of ČESKÁ RAFINÉRSKÁ. Among others important investments let’s name building up a new butadiene unit in KAUČUK and rebranding of selected BENZINA’S gas stations.Expected contribution of the Partnership program in 2006 (in 2004 macro conditions) is approx. EUR 90m. UNIPETROL’s management committed itself in the Partnership program to the contribution into EBITDA in the height of EUR 138m at least by end of 2008. The goal of the Partnership program is an exploitation of all potential synergy effects stemming from the integration with PKN ORLEN and also the increase in efficiency of economic processes within UNIPETROL.
