Chairman of the Board of Directors
Tomasz Wiatrak is a manager with more than 10 years of professional experience in optimization, restructuring, audit and project management.
Before this position, Tomasz Wiatrak was the Vice-Chairman of the Unipetrol Board of Directors from March 2018 to June 2019. He was mainly responsible for:
Development of retail business (Benzina filling stations) including opening a new market on Slovakia
Launching the synergy program within the Group
Preparation of mid-term strategy of the Group development
Before joining Unipetrol, he had served as Chairman of the Board of Directors in the company Energa Informatyka i Technologie Sp. z o. o. He was responsible for operational and strategic management of an IT business specialized in providing modern solutions for the energy sector.
Tomasz Wiatrak holds numerous certificates in audit (CIA, CGAP) and management (Prince2 Practitioner, M_o_R, ITIL) and is a leading auditor of the information security management system according to ISO/IEC 27001.
He also served in a number of managerial, advisory and expert positions in the European Commission, in state administration institutions and in the private sector.
He graduated from the Master’s degree programmes at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. He also attended postgraduate programme Strategic Leadership Academy organized by ICAN Institute, publisher of Polish edition of Harvard Business Review.
