By signing the agreement, both parties expressed the conviction that only close cooperation among those who have a major impact on activity in the Ústí nad Labem region will lead to a long-term improvement in the quality of life of the local population and further development of the region. Economic growth while maintaining social peace and environmental protection are considered crucial.

The representatives of Unipetrol RPA and the Ústí nad Labem region observed that their shared objective is close cooperation in the area of environmental protection and creation, employment, support of healthcare, social sphere and education. The support of other development projects and programs is in the interest of all.

Among other things, the CEO of Unipetrol Piotr Chełmiński spoke about the product composition, ownership structure and also the complicated economic situation in the refinery industry. According to the governor, Unipetrol RPA is a stable and prospective partner that is easy to cooperate with. After meeting with Piotr Chełmiński and the executive director of Unipetrol RPA Artur Paździor, Jana Vaňhová went on a tour of the chemical factory accompanied by journalists.
