Prague, April 9, 2018 – Benzina, the largest network of its kind in the Czech Republic and part of the Unipetrol Group, is offering drivers a mobile app allowing people to wash their cars without queuing or needing to buy a voucher at a petrol station and entering a code before driving into the carwash. The Mycí digi linka (Digi Car Wash) which can recognize a vehicle registration plate was created by the Finnish company Superoperator, first in the world to develop clever car washing apps. The app is available for free on iOS and Android devices. Up to the end of August, drivers can save ten crowns each time they wash their car.
 
Any driver using one of the 57 Benzina carwashes can benefit from the unique smartphone app Mycí digi linka developed by Superoperator. It saves time and makes the whole washing process simpler and more pleasant. Usually a customer first goes to a petrol station, buys a voucher, gets into the car again, enters the carwash, taps the code into a machine and then drives through carwash. The app makes all this much easier.

 

"A driver selects a suitable nearby carwash in the app, chooses a washing program, pays online within seconds and can enter the carwash right away without having to get out of the car or opening a window," explained Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz, Head of Unipetrol Retail Marketing Department.

The app can store a driver’s card number, so payment is instant. Likewise, the vehicle registration number can also be stored, so that when a driver goes to a carwash, it automatically detects their car, opens the door and runs the programme. On the display, the driver can see how much time is left before the end of the wash. The app also saves time. Drivers can easily see which carwashes are either busy or empty, and the app can transmit live images from the cameras installed at carwashes.

 

"The app is available for download on iOS and Android. “Drivers using the carwash service via our app are significantly more satisfied than those using traditional carwashes,” said Helena Lindová from Superoperator, global leader in digital car app solutions.

 

„Because we’re inviting drivers to try out this innovation, we’re offering a 10-crown discount for each washing programme of their choice till the end of August. We hope our mobile app becomes an essential part of the travellers, wherever they go," added Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz.
