Prague, March 9, 2018
– Supervisory Board of UNIPETROL, a.s. during its meeting on March 9, 2018,
made several changes to the composition of the Board of Directors. Effective
March 10, 2018, Krzysztof Zdziarski, up till now Vice-Chairman of the Board of
Directors, was elected new Chairman of the Unipetrol Board of Directors,
replacing Andrzej Modrzejewski. Tomasz Wiatrak, up till now a Member of the
board, will hold the post of Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. Effective
March 14, 2018, Katarzyna Woś and Maciej Libiszewski will become new Members of
the Board of Directors. Effective March 9, 2018, the Supervisory Board of
Unipetrol removed Andrzej Modrzejewski, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and
Robert Małłek, Member of the Board of Directors, from their office.
Krzysztof Zdziarski has been Vice-Chairman of the
Unipetrol Board of Directors and Chief Operations Officer since July 2016
having previously served as Executive Director for refinery production of the
Polish manufacturing company PKN ORLEN. Krzysztof Zdziarski has extensive
experience in establishing and development of medium and large companies. From
1999 to 2006 he served as Chief Executive Officer of UPS POLSKA and later as
Chairman of the Board of Directors of PEKAES SA Group (2006 – 2010). From 2010
to 2015 he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of ORLEN Południe. Krzysztof
Zdziarski graduated from the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences
– Theory of Economics and Management.
Maciej Libiszewski has served as Member of the Board
of Directors in several companies over the past three years, including the
Chairman of the Board of Directors of AWT BV, Amsterdam, Chairman of the Board
of PKP Cargo and Vice-Chairman of POL-REIL, based in Rome. From 2009 to 2011 he
worked as an expert in the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland
responsible for economic affairs. After graduating from the law faculty of the
University of Gdansk, Maciej Libiszewski studied finance, management, and
marketing at the Polish-German Management School in Berlin.
Katarzyna Woś has worked as Vice-Chairwoman of
Energa Informatyka i Technologie since 2017. She previously worked for
Electrolux Poland from 2009 to 2017. Katarzyna Woś graduated from the
Jagiellonian University in Krakow and Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, She
did her post gradual studies in accounting and finance at the Krakow University
of Economics.

The Unipetrol Group is
the Czech Republic’s largest refining and petrochemical company. The Unipetrol
Group focuses primarily on crude oil processing, fuel manufacturing and distribution,
and petrochemical production – especially plastics and fertilizers. In all
