Prague, June 13, 2017 – Benzina, the Czech Republic’s largest filling station network belonging to the Unipetrol Group, completed the coverage of all its 385 filling stations by high-speed wireless internet. It thereby became the only filling station network in the Czech Republic offering fast Wi-Fi, free of charge, throughout its network, including self-service stations.
 
„We are working on continuous modernization of the look of our stations, expanding the offer of complementary goods and a range of refreshments. We are also asking our customers about their further expectations towards us. We’ve found out the internet connection is important to them. And so we’re now offering Wi-Fi. Free and everywhere,“ explained Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz, head of Benzina branch marketing department, adding: „In addition to stable and fast connection, we also offer the opportunity to recharge your mobile phone, tablet or laptop directly in the relaxation zone of selected filling stations.“

 

Benzina offers free high-speed internet connection and unlimited data transfer. Customers will recognize their network at first glance - it’s called free_wifi_Benzina at all stations. You can then connect easily, without a password, within a few seconds; length of the connection is set at very comfortable two hours. However, if a customer needs more time still, they can re-log on the logging website. The maximum speed of up to 20 Mbit/s (upload and download) which is dependent on the number of currently connected devices.
