Prague, October 19, 2017 - Unipetrol is showcasing its petrochemical product portfolio at the FAKUMA trade fair taking place in Friedrichshafen, Germany, a leading international event focused on industrial plastics processing.
Unipetrol traditionally participates in the trade fair that is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. “Mature markets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other countries are very important to us, so our presence at FAKUMA is essential,” says Łukasz Silski, Sales Director for Polyolefins, Unipetrol. "Construction of the PE3 polyethylene unit is progressing well and we will soon go to the market with a new product offering. Such major events offer a unique opportunity for us to showcase our products and be available to both current and potential clients,” adds Silski.
Unipetrol, a global brand active on raw materials and special products markets worldwide, is presenting its offering in Hall A6, Stand A6-6011, with the theme “We shape the world”. The products on display include e.g. Liten polyethylene and Mosten polypropylene, as well as Chezacarb carbon black, masterbatches from the Polymer Institute Brno, a Unipetrol subsidiary, and Neralit, a product of Spolana Neratovice.
The event is taking place from 17 to 21 October 2017, featuring products form approximately 1800 exhibitors. The organisers expect as many as 40,000 visitors. The focus of this year’s trade fair is on the latest technologies, processes and tools for effective plastics processing using such methods as injection moulding, thermoforming and 3D printing.
