As of mid-October, there will be lots of thrill available at selected ORLEN Benzina filling stations. They will be adorned by the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN open-wheel single-seat racing car! The tour starts on Monday, 17 October, at the ORLEN Benzina filling station in Litvínov-Záluží where the racing car will be on display all week long until Monday, 24 October. Then it will move to Prague, the next stop will be the legendary Nine Crosses filling station on the D1, and the tour will end in Klimkovice near Ostrava. The tour also includes two competitions for the public to win valuable prizes.
“ORLEN Benzina filling stations are part of a large and stable international network comprising almost three thousand stations in Poland, Germany, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with Hungary coming soon, too. This international scope is underlined by the successful activities of the ORLEN Group in the Formula One series. Motorsport and Formula One are very popular in the Czech Republic. Therefore, we are happy, for the second consecutive year, to prepare such a great experience for the fans and the broad public in the Czech Republic in the form of a genuine Formula 1 racing car,” explains Tomasz Wiatrak, board chairman of the ORLEN Unipetrol Group, which also comprises the network of ORLEN Benzina stations.
Visitors to ORLEN filling stations can see the current monopost Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN C42 with their own eyes. The tour is unique not only in its content but also in the actual transportation – Team ORLEN’s Alfa Romeo C42 will be exhibited at the filling stations 24/7 in a transparent glass box. Furthermore, as part of the roadshow, the public can participate in two competitions for attractive prizes – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN promotional items and a safe-driving course at the Autodrom Most circuit worth CZK 5,000.
After last year’s successful tour of Czech cities, with the F1 racing car seen by over 20,000 people, the tour has been expanded beyond the border to Slovakia. It will start at the ORLEN Benzina filling station in Litvínov on 17 October. Next, the racing car will travel to other cities:
