The refining and petrochemical group ORLEN Unipetrol, the only local crude oil processing company, has obtained the prestigious global Top Employer Award, making it again one of the best employers in Europe in 2024. The international certificate shows that the company has long been developing and cultivating the labour market through excellent employee care and sees to the employees’ personal and career development. The ORLEN Unipetrol Group has long taken leading positions in similar competitions and rankings in the Czech Republic. Last year, ORLEN Unipetrol was acknowledged as the best employer of 2023 at the national and regional levels, and students in the Ústí Region gave the company the most votes as the most desired employer after graduation.

The Top Employers Institute programme awards certificates to companies based on their participation and results of the survey of best practices in human resources. This survey includes six areas with 20 topics, including HR strategy, the working environment, talent acquisition, education, diversity, equality and inclusion, and good living conditions.

This is the thirteenth year in a row in which ORLEN has been recognized as one of the best employers in Poland, receiving the Top Employer Polska certificate. At the same time, the company took 4th place in the TE2024 Polska program, based on the global Top Employers Institute ranking methodology. The prestigious group of the best employers also includes ANWIL from ORLEN Group.
The ORLEN Unipetrol Group has long been successful in the HR rankings and competitions. Last year, it obtained national recognition as the Sodexo Employer of the Year, a part of the annual awards by the Employers’ Club. Last year, the Group also defended the first position as the best employer in the Ústí Region. The interest in being employed at the company has also reached above-standard levels. For the third time, students in the Ústí Region have chosen ORLEN Unipetrol as the most attractive employer in a questionnaire survey attended by more than 5,000 secondary school and university students.
