The ORLEN Unipetrol Group continues modernising the Water Management Production Team fleet. The most recent investment is a new suction-flusher, a Mercedes Benz 8x4 Tridem, for nearly CZK 12 million. This specially designed vehicle for fluid suction and high-pressure flushing provides a significant enhancement compared to the existing fleet and increases the labour efficiency of the Water Management team.
The new vehicle is intended for the Water Management Production Team in the Litvínov production plant. Its primary function is to clean sewage drains, the technological equipment for water supplies, and the facility for wastewater treatment, sludge suction, and to pump water from excavation work.
“The new suction/flushing vehicle revolutionises our fleet’s efficiency and safety,” said Pavel Sláma, EKO unit director. He added: “With its high suction performance, the vehicle can clean with higher depth and suction properties, allowing us to expand the scope of our services. This vehicle with advanced technological features significantly expands our abilities to react to various water management needs.”
The chief advantages of the new vehicle include a higher performance and better technological advancement than the existing vehicles. The innovative body control with an external controller with a large display enables the vehicle operator to monitor all required parameters in real time. Thus, it provides higher control and occupational safety. The new vehicle also brings major benefits in maintenance and diagnostics. Using remote diagnostics, it is possible to effectively react to any technical problems without transporting the vehicle to a garage, significantly reducing operating expenses and increasing the vehicle’s operational efficiency.
