Prague, March 21, 2018 – Benzina, which operates 402 petrol stations and is the largest network of its kind in the Czech Republic, continues in modernising and expanding its customer services. In addition to the last year‘s provision of free high-speed wireless internet at all petrol stations it is now also offering a re-charge service as part of the expanding STOP CAFE gastro concept by means of providing socket outlets to conveniently charge portable devices such as mobile phones, tablets or notebooks.
The trend of using mobile phones and notebooks in Benzina petrol station cafes is constantly growing. Increasingly, petrol stations are also becoming a place for business meetings and negotiations. A modern environment offering good coffee, tasty refreshments and free high-speed internet connectivity without data limits and login passwords lends itself as an ideal place for such activities.
"We are not only improving the appearance of the stations but also the range of the services. Upgraded stations include a new, customer welcoming design, a wider range of refreshments to choose from and extended relaxing or working zones. We believe that the mobile devices’ re-charging facilities should be part and parcel of a modern internet connectivity service. So far we have upgraded 32 stations and aim to have 100 stations upgraded by the end of the year," says Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz, Head of Retail Marketing in Unipetrol.
Benzina petrol stations expanded by the STOP CAFE concept are equipped in the relaxation zone with tables integrating charging socket outlets. A wide variety of traditional and modern dishes with an emphasis on healthy nutrition, where the main dishes and salads also include a breakfast menu have been added to the basic gastronomic offer of the popular Fairtrade coffee and Hotdog at selected stations. Meals are prepared in special ovens without added fat. The STOP CAFE also offers a wide range of fresh baguettes, croissants, muesli, yogurt and other specialties. Freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices are also available in modernized stations In addition to hot and cold beverages and the Fairtrade certified coffee. For urgent cases, the sale of essential medicines is also available.
