Litvínov, 21 March 2011 – It is with great regret that the Management of Unipetrol RPA must announce that an external employee of company BIS Czech fell from scaffolding on Saturday around noon in Chempark Záluží. The employee had suffered serious injuries, which he succumbed to, after being transported by helicopter to the Ustí nad Labem hospital, on Saturday evening. 

The employee of company BIS Czech was working on dismantling of scaffolding at the reactor C 4001 of polyethylen unit 2. An investigation team has been set up by executives of Unipetrol RPA. The company will communicate results of the investigation as soon as possible.
