On August 25th, 2005 the company UNIPETROL, a.s. decided to make a binding offer for   the purchase of the company ARAL shares, which is the operator of 70 petrol stations on the Czech market. By Potential victory in the tender UNIPETROL, a.s. would gain the above mentioned number of petrol stations in very atractive locations which could suitably increase present network of BENZINA a.s. petrol stations. The company BP Holdings International B.V.  which is the 100 % owner of ARAL shares will probably announce the results of the tender by the end of this year.​
