Prague, 16 December 2010 – BoD of UNIPETROL, a.s. announces that the General Shareholders Meeting (GM) of Česká rafinérská (the Company) scheduled on 16 December 2010 did not take place due to the absence of certain shareholders and a lack of quorum. 

BoD of Česká rafinérská in accordance with the law is responsible for organizing the next GM with the same agenda within six weeks.

BoD of UNIPETROL, a.s. believes that the decision to postpone the GM of Česká rafinérská will not affect the realization of current tasks in the Company, and activities will continue to be carried out without any interruptions.
