Information from the Unipetrol General Meeting

The General Meeting approved the financial statements and decided on the distribution of profits 
Andrzej Jerzy Kozłowski became the new member of the Supervisory Board

Prague, 24 June 2009  – The Regular General Meeting of Unipetrol, held today in the City Conference Centre in Prague, Pankrác, approved the company’s financial statements for 2008, decided on the distribution of profits and approved changes in the Supervisory Board. The shareholders also approved the Report of the Board of Directors on Business Activities of the Company and State of Its Property and discussed other items on the agenda.

The consolidated profit of Unipetrol for the accounting year 2008 was CZK 65.691 million, the revenue was CZK 98.144 billion.

The unconsolidated profit in the amount of CZK 4.428 billion will be, as decided by the General Meeting, transferred to the account for undistributed profits from the previous years and to the contingency fund.

Wojciech Wróblewski was recalled from the Supervisory Board of Unipetrol, Andrzej Jerzy Kozłowski became the new member. The Unipetrol shareholders confirmed Bogdan Dzudzewicz and Arkadiusz Kawecki as elected members of the Supervisory Board of Unipetrol. Also Ivan Kočárník, whose term of office has expired, was re-elected to the Board. During the following meeting of the Supervisory Board he became vicechairman. The Supervisory Board also elected Ivan Ottis as a member of the Board of Directors of Unipetrol again on its meeting.

71 shareholders or their representatives participated in the General Meeting, representing in total the voting rights of 68.1 percent.
