​On 29 April, there was published an article titled "Unipetrol: We don´t plan to leave." The text does not contain all information that we have sent to the mentioned topics. Therefore, we would like to publish provided unshortened commentary here:

Regarding Unipetrol´s Strategy for 2013 – 2017:
We are in the middle of realization of our strategy set out for a five-year period, namely for the years 2013 - 2017. At this point it is too early to talk about reaching any targets.  The results we delivered within the last quarters confirm, that the pillars of our strategy and focus on Operational Excellence brings positive effect to our financial performance.

Regarding negotiations with the company Mero:
Regarding transport costs Unipetrol group is charged fees unjustified by market conditions. So far, both sides have not found agreement, therefore negotiations will continue.

We managed to close contract on crude oil deliveries with Transpetrol for deliveries in 2015 and 2016. We believe that the arguments which have been taken into account during negotiations with Transpetrol, can also help with the current dealings regarding new tariffs for transport within the Czech Republic. 

Regarding Unipetrol´s membership in professional associations:
In view of the fact that the agenda of the Czech Association of Petroleum Industry and Trade covers mainly topics related to the retail business with fuel, we have decided to reconsider our representation in the association. Unipetrol group will continue to be represented by the company Benzina. Into the future, we want to have always only one representative in all business associations, we do not see any greater added value in multiple membership of group´s companies. Regarding Unipetrol, we actively participate in the work of expert teams and working groups in professional institutions such as the Association of Chemical Industry, the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic or the Czech Chamber of Commerce.
