UNIPETROL, a.s., as the sole member of BENZINA, s.r.o., UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o., and UNIPETROL SERVICES, s.r.o., decided today to increase the number of Executives of said companies by one each. William Kozik is the new Executive of BENZINA, Czesław Adam Bugaj becomes the new Executive of UNIPETROL RPA and Jaroslaw Serba is the new Executive of UNIPETROL SERVICES.Prague, 18 October 2007 – The number of Executives has been increased to make the management of the above companies more efficient.
Willam Kozik (41) has held the position of PKN Orlen´s Executive Director for Retail since February 2007. Between 2005 and January 2007 he held the position of PKN Orlen´s Executive Director for Retail, Poland. W. Kozik worked at Shell from 1994 to 2005, including several years in the position of retail sales manager. W. Kozik studied at the Warsaw Polytechnic University between 1985 and 1991, specialising in hydraulics and construction. He was involved in many secondments abroad.
Jaroslaw Serba (35) has worked at the PKN Orlen Group since 2006. Currently he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Orlen Księgowość (the Shared Financial Services Centre for the PKN Orlen Group). Before joining PKN Orlen S.A., J. Serba worked as the Go-to-Market Manager at Strategic Outsourcing. Prior to this position he worked in the advisory section of IBM from 1997. He has graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Lublin Technical University in Poland.
Czeslaw Adam Bugaj (57) has held the position of the Deputy CEO for Production at PKN Orlen since 2007. He is also a Member of the Supervisory Board of UNIPETROL. Since 1970 he has been working at PKN Orlen where he has held various positions. C. A. Bugaj graduated from the Warsaw Technical University, specialising in chemistry and technologies, in 1981. He also took a post-graduate course in oil industry management at the Warsaw School of Economics in 1995.
