“This year, the competition was attended by a total of 130 companies, out of which 18 were from the Ústí region. There, Unipetrol RPA became the “hottest new player” of the year, which secured the second place in the main category and also became the most sought-after company in the Ústí region among university students,” said Pavel Hulák, a representative of the organizer and manager of the Employers’ Club.

 

“We are very thankful for the positive feedback. We view it as an acknowledgment of the long-term work with our nearly four thousand employees, and also of the support we have been providing to education and our region as a whole,” says Michał Chmiel, the HR manager of Unipetrol.

 

The ceremonial announcement of the winners took place on 19 May. Participants were evaluated based on a questionnaire using the PwC Saratoga methodology. The questionnaire was prepared and the information was processed by the consultation agency PwC Czech Republic.

 

Unipetrol employs nearly 3800 people in the Czech Republic, and a large part of these come from the Ústí region, where the company ranks among the most important employers. Together with its employees, it actively participates in the improvement of its surroundings, and organizes events for its employees such as voluntary days or the Fulfilled Wishes foundation which supports children in the Ústí, Central Bohemian and Pardubice regions.
