​Unipetrol took 3rd place in this year's annual survey of TOP employers in the Energy & Gas & Petrochemical industry category. The survey is organised by the Association of Students and Graduates  and carried out among university students. This year's event was attended by 10 360 voters.
 
Unipetrol Group is employing 3 800 persons in the Czech Republic and it is among the largest employers in the Ústí Region but also operates in Prague, Kralupy nad Vltavou, Pardubice, Kolín and Brno.

"We are glad that undergraduates perceive Unipetrol as one of the most attractive employers in the Czech Republic. It’s a clear confirmation that chemical industry is getting more and more attractive for young people” says Michał Chmiel, the HR Director of the Unipetrol Group. "From Unipetrol’s perspective the graduates are a very interesting group of potential employees. That is why we are putting efforts throughout the year to present Unipetrol at various job fairs and communicate actively on social networks. We are also a long-time partner of the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague" - adds Michał Chmiel.

Unipetrol participated in the Top Employer competition for the second time and this year moved up two positions to the third place in the  Energy & Gas & Petrochemical industry category, right behind  CEZ and E.ON Czech Republic.

The TOP Employers ranking is traditionally compiled by a non-profit organisation, the Association of students and graduates. A survey is carried out directly among the universities students of all grades and disciplines. The expert guarantor of the survey is the GFK Company. The project is under the patronage of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Czech Student Union.
