Unipetrol RPA won a tender of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic for the supply of fuel for the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and the Police of the Czech Republic. Unipetrol was able to offer fuel delivery at the best price. The 250 million Crown tender will be carried out in 2015.
“It’s not a completely exclusive contract. We will react to the needs of organizational units in individual regions. In other words, when firefighters or policemen need fuel in a specific region, Unipetrol will always be asked to provide the first offer,” explained Jaroslav Filip, Director of the Sales and marketing refinery unit of Unipetrol RPA.
The company estimates that it will supply millions of litres of fuel, especially motor petrol, to security services in 2015. Additional deliveries will consist of motor diesel and so-called arctic diesel with special properties for winter. Unipetrol RPA distributes fuel directly to the storage areas of police and firefighters.
Unipetrol RPA recently also won a tender for of 40,000 m³ of JET A1 aviation fuel for the Administration of State Material Reserves. The strategic supplies of JET A1 aviation fuel meets the most stringent of requirements for technical parameters and are intended for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic.
