A total of thirteen full time students at the ICTP Research and Study Centre in Most – Velebudice received prizes for excellent study results this year. The Unipetrol Group has been the strategic partner of the Institute of Chemical Technology Prague for seven years.
Most, 15 October 2009 - Unipetrol Prizes were awarded to thirteen outstanding students at the Institute of Chemical Technology Prague, Research and Study Centre in Most - Velebudice. These are students studying at this educational centre, which enables gifted individuals in the region to study close to home.
"Student tuition at the ICTP Research and Study Centre in Most – Velebudice is an important and welcome activity for the Institute of Chemical Technology Prague, which enables the institute to provide students with a quality university education and contribute to the development of the region with a high percentage of chemical industry. The Institute of Chemical Technology Prague greatly appreciates the fact that Unipetrol has decided to award the best students of this form of study prizes in recognition of their study efforts,” said Prof. Ing. Pavel Hasal, CSc. Vice-Rector of Education at ICTP.
Unipetrol Prizes valued at ten, eight and five thousand crowns, were awarded to full-time students for the first time this year. Unipetrol a.s., which is a strategic partner of the Institute of Chemical Technology Prague, previously awarded prizes for outstanding diploma and doctoral work only. The presentation of Unipetrol Prizes to the best students is an acknowledgement of outstanding, perspective individuals in the field and promises graduates excellent realisation on the labour market.
