Prague, 5 June 2013, Unipetrol RPA announces intention to sell technology hardware for production of Urea. The operation of Urea unit was shutted down by Unipetrol on 31 December 2012. The production plant has a nominal capacity of 600 tons / day and was put into operation in 1972 under license of Stamicarbon NV. Potential applicants can join tender organized for this purpose. Deadline for announcement of tender participation: 3 weeks after issue.Unipetrol RPA produced 6.45 million tons of Urea from 1972 to 2011. Production technology produced granulated Urea, which found application not just in agriculture, but also in the production of plastics, pharmaceuticals, adhesives or floating floors. The current tender is focused on the sale of the whole hardware of Urea production unit.
The Main Technological Hardware:
- The reactor (R 101): The reactor was replaced in 1997.
- The stripper (E 103): The stripper was replaced in 1996.
- High pressure condenser (E 104): The high pressure carbamate condenser was replaced in 1997.
- Low pressure condenser (E 202): This low pressure carbamate condenser is original piece of equipment. In 1999 the inner tube bundle was replaced.
- High pressure inert material scrubber (E 105).
- CO2 compressor (P102): This is three-stage reciprocating compressor manufactured by the COOPER BESSEMER company and it was reconstructed by the Neumann & Esser company.
- Liquid ammonia pumps (P 104 A/B): Theses are electricity-driven reciprocating pumps.
- Retention vessels: Their purpose is to increase the accumulation capacity for liquid intermediate products.
- Control System: Emerson (Fisher - Rosemount)
Other important information:
Unipetrol RPA has great amount of inventory of spare parts for the key components of the production unit.
The production unit hardware has been continuously and regularly maintained since the time of its commissioning.
Relevant operation and technical documentation is available.
Exceptionally good accessibility of the Litvínov-Záluží Chempark for transportation purposes.
