The Centre of international meeting and training should arise in the compound.

Litvínov, October 20, 2011 – Part of CZK 330,000, which this year Unipetrol has donated to social, educational and environmental projects of the city of Most, will go to start reconstruction of the former presbytery in Vtelno. The Regional charity of Most would like to build up a centre for educational, social and cultural events for the general public and day centre for the handicapped here. The donation, which the company Unipetrol has provided for the project, is aimed at introduction of electricity and putting sanitary facilities into operation.

„Unipetrol Group has been promoting education long time, because it is a way how to secure new young well educated employees for different departments of Unipetrol in the future. We are, therefore, pleased that we could contribute to the project of the Centre for international meeting and education, which should serve for development of cross-border cooperation and increase in local students´ interest in the history of the Most region,“ said Mr Piotr Chełmiński, the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Unipetrol.

„With establishing the Centre for international meeting and education, a unique space will occur in the Most region where Czech students will meet with foreign ones, as well as volunteers and the public in educational, cultural and social events. We would like this baroque monument to revive and open its doors to Most citizens and not only them. Currently we install electricity, adapt certain rooms, but mainly with preservationists, builder and designer strive for removal of two points in disrepair in the building. The donation from the company Unipetrol has helped us in electricity installation and material purchase,“ said Ms Eva Čenkovičová, Directress of the Regional charity in Most.

The project of the former Cistercian presbytery complex reconstruction in Vtelno has been developed by the Regional charity in Most. Besides the Centre for international meeting, a day centre for the handicapped and their families as well as sheltered workshops should come into existence here. Families with children with special needs will find assistance here. The day centre capacity will be 30 – 40 persons.
