Unipetrol supplies every third litre of fuel in the Czech Republic

10-05-2007

Unipetrol Rafinérie, a subsidiary of Unipetrol (100%) processed a little more than every third litre of motor petrol and a little less than every third litre of diesel fuel sold on the Czech market.

Prague, 10 May 2007 – The data concerning the Czech motor fuel market are derived from recently updated results published by the Czech Association of Petroleum Industry and Trade – ČAPPO. Approximately one-third of the fuel market was occupied by the production of other processors, Česká rafinérská (Shell, ConocoPhillips and Eni) and Paramo. The rest was formed by official imports to the Czech Republic.

Unipetrol Rafinérie sells motor fuels primarily to Benzina and other leading players on the Czech market. “Drivers can also buy our petrol and diesel at filling stations next to supermarkets,” says Stanislav Bruna. A reliable carrier, Petrotrans provides the transportation of fuels in the proper quality and correct volume.

UNIPETROL is a group of companies operating in the petrochemical industry in the Czech Republic.
