Litvínov, October 12, 2011 – Litvínov-based Unipetrol RPA, together with its German representative, Unipetrol Deutschland GmbH, will open its stand at the international trade fair for plastics processing, FAKUMA, in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Between 18 th and 22 nd October it will present a wide range of its petrochemical, refinery and agrochemical products.
“Our products are very well known on the German market, we have been cooperating with the local plastics consumers in various ways for the last 35 years. This year we want to focus on further expanding our activities in German-speaking countries and the FAKUMA fair is a perfect opportunity for this,“ said Tomáš Francírek, head of the Polyolefins Unit in Unipetrol RPA and an Executive of Unipetrol Deutschland.
Apart from the wide range of products on offer from the LITEN high-density polyethylene and MOSTEN polypropylene assortment, Unipetrol will also present several other petrochemical, refinery and agrochemical products. These come not only from Chempark Záluží production facilities, but also other plants in the PKN Orlen Group or from other Czech and Slovak chemicals producers.
Apart from product managers and technical and client service specialists the stand will also be staffed with an experienced team of technicians and researchers from Unipetrol’s important centre, “ Polymer Institute Brno“. The Czech-German Business and Commerce Chamber, of which Unipetrol is a member, will also present its activities at the stand.
Each visitor to the Unipetrol fair stand will also be able to get some refreshment in the form of a glass of the Pilsner beer. The stand will be located in the B5 Hall, number B5-5007.
The international trade fair for plastics processing FAKUMA is among the most important events of the plastics industry. It presents a complex offer in the area of plastics injection technology, offers a review of the most recent trends in the area of machines and installations for plastics processing, plastic products, tools, forms, plastics processing feedstock or recycling.
Unipetrol Deutschland is a stable player with many years of experience on the German market. It originally functioned as a trade office of the Chemapol, a. s. Praha netweork under the name Deutsche Chemapol GmbH, with offices in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. In 2001 the company was taken over by Unipetrol and as of 2002 is named Unipetrol Deutschland GmbH. At the end of 2010 Unipetrol Deutschland was included in the Unipetrol RPA structure.
