Thanks to Unipetrol, the National Theatre was able to stage key Mozartean projects in 2006, including the premieres of the operas Don Giovanni and La clemenza di Tito and two concerts entitled Gerd Albrecht presents Mozart. The National Theatre appreciates very much the generous support of Unipetrol, the next stage of which commences today.

The chief objectives of the cooperation will be support to the National Theatre’s artistic activities in the fields of drama, music and dance as well as joint promotion of both cooperating entities in the eyes of the Czech general public.

“ It is always good if big players from various areas of cultural and social world join their powers. Cooperation of the National theatre and company Unipetrol is a case of such union,” said the director of the National Theatre Ondřej Černý.
