Prague, 4 July 2007 – Wojciech Ostrowski (37) graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics. Then he completed a post-graduate course in corporate financing and value management. He started his career as an independent accountant in the financial department of Petrochemia Plock S.A., where he progressively held several different positions from 1994 to 2006 (head of the financial department, deputy head of the financial management office responsible for cash flow, insurance, business loans, and debt collection). From December 2006 to May 2007 served as Deputy CFO at Mažeikiu Nafta.

Wojciech Ostrowski attended many courses in risk management, financial management, accounting, and investments. In 1997 he successfully completed a course for supervisory board members. “I am very pleased by the confidence I have been given by the Board of Directors of Unipetrol because Unipetrol group is very big and interesting company with an enormous potential for further development.” 

He has been a member of many Supervisory Boards since 1996: Petrogaz Redaki, Rafineria Trzebinia S.A., Orlen Petroprofit, Orlen Petrotank, Orlen Petrocentrum, Orlen Morena, and Wisla Plock S.A.
