The employees of Unipetrol Group donated for charitable purposes in the organized fourth year of Fulfilled wishes project in total 118,447 CZK. The company Unipetrol will match their contribution, so together they will donate to non-profit organizations the total amount of 236,894 CZK.
"I very much appreciate that our employees care about others and contributed to a good thing again. This time, they collected for disadvantaged children twice as much than last year," explains CEO and Chairman of the Board of Unipetrol Marek Świtajewski.
The profit from the Fulfilled wishes project will be donated to children's home in Most and Early Care Centre in Pardubice. Unipetrol Group has in both locations its operations and supports so the regions where the company operates. Based on their own choice, the employees decided to donate to children's home in Most the amount of 143,700 CZK. The symbolic cheque was given over by Executive of Unipetrol RPA, Łukasz Piotrowski. The home will purchase a laptop for interactive whiteboard control as well as tables, chairs or mats and gymnastic balls for yoga lessons.
Early Care Centre in Pardubice was given over the contribution of 93,194 crowns CEO of Paramo Marek Gladysz. The Centre will use the money for purchase of stimulating toys and didactic materials for developing of children´s senses, training of fine motor skills and also promoting of communication and socialization of young patients.
The Fulfilled wishes project that is becoming a tradition within the Unipetrol Group was first held in 2011. Over the past four years, the employees collected in total already 249,900 CZK for non-profit organizations from Prague as well as from Regions of Ústí and Pardubice. In accordance with the agreement, Unipetrol contributed with the same amount. During the organized four years of the charitable project Fulfilled wishes it was donated in total 499,800 CZK. Unipetrol wants to repeat the project also in 2015.
The children's home in Most takes care of children who for some reason do not grow up in an environment of their own family. The capacity of the home is 48 children. Children living here are divided into six family groups of 6-8 children so that the children live in conditions as much as possible similar to the life in a normal family.
Early Care Centre in Pardubice takes care of children with physical, mental or combined disabilities from their birth to the age of 7 years and also provides both material and emotional support to their families.
