Unipetrol RPA carried out market research in the field of storage of goods. To verify the interest of investors and the identification of potential technical solutions and price levels announces Request for Information (RFI) for external storage of palletized goods or rent a storage space in a radius of 40 km from the factory Chempark Záluží. Potential candidates may submit their proposals until 21st August 2015.
„The petitioner may consider for submitting the proposal either existing property or purchase of land and construction of new warehouses on "greenfield". In both cases stores must of course comply with all the requirements for the storage of polyethylene and polypropylene“, says Leszek Szelerski, The Unipetrol Group Logistics Director. Unipetrol RPA expects the conclusion of a storage contract for a period of 10 years.
The basic scope of this market research is to find technical solutions proposals and indicative prices for:Option A: Storage of 22 000 pallets, size 1,1m x 1,3m x 1,9m.
Option B: Renting of storage buildings approx. 31 000 m2 large.
The pallets can be stored only in covered facilities and stacked in only two layers. Storing in racks in not considered as a suitable solution.
Covered storage space can also be a shelter without perimeter walls or special tent designed for the storage of goods, if such a facility meets all other legislative standards and requirements of Unipetrol RPA.
Gross weight per pallet is max. 1.415 kg.
The proposals must consider complete realization of the demanded service, i.e. the purchase/assuring of land, purchase/construction/assuring of storage buildings including the debagging device and if the case of offering complete warehousing services also assuring of storage operations. One of the conditions is to ensure adequate parking for at least 15 to 20 trucks and suitable location to allow heavy truck traffic.
