Unipetrol and Air Products Sign New Contract Extending Long-term Relationship

Prague, February 18, 2016 – A world-leading industrial gas company, Air Products (NYSE:APD), and Unipetrol RPA signed a new long-term agreement, extending the successful partnership.  The contract, which will run until 2027, will see Air Products continue to supply industrial gases to meet Unipetrol’s needs from its existing Air Separation Unit (ASU). 
 
The contract also includes the provision of operational and maintenance services on industrial gas production equipment in Litvinov.  Located on Unipetrol’s, Air Products’ ASU will also continue to supply additional liquid capacity produced to meet the industrial gas needs of its customers across the Czech Republic and Central Europe. 

Over a 20 year long collaboration between Unipetrol and Air Products’  brings many commercial advantages. The companies  continually optimise processes and drive performance based on existing and future needs. This mutually beneficial approach also creates value for customers in the Czech and broader Central European market.
