Ideas have been collected for two months. People could send text messages or place their suggestions in collection boxes placed in a special tramway, in public spaces, in public institutions and in the reception at the entrance to the chemical plant in Záluží. For instance, an idea on how to improve life of inhabitants of Most and Litvínov was also submitted by the host, singer and a native of Most, Vladimír Hron, or by actors from the Quite Big Theatre in Litvínov.
“We have received both brief and thoroughly detailed proposals describing what people lack in the towns or what should be improved. It was a very wide range of proposals, which we therefore grouped into six thematic groups related to the environment, education, sport, family, culture and public space,” Tomáš Herink, Member of the Board of Directors of the Unipetrol Group explains, adding: “Now, the ideas will be submitted to a commission comprising representatives of both towns and our company, and during October we will present a set of projects for each town from which people can choose the one to be implemented in each town in the end. This voting will last until the end of the year.”
