The ORLEN Unipetrol Group scored two more wins at the 10th anniversary of the prestigious Recruitment Academy Awards. The company won first place in the "Recruitment Campaign of the Year" category and was also among the three finalists in the "Referral Programme of the Year" category. The jury particularly appreciated the innovative approach of the dynamic "NEPOSTRADATELNÍ" (INDISPENSABLE) campaign, which was inspired by an action movie. The recruitment video stood out for its original concept. The campaign's superheroes, comprising production operators, researchers, and IT specialists, showed that working at ORLEN Unipetrol is not just routine production or laboratory analysis but an adventure full of challenges and innovation, supported by a great team.
"At ORLEN Unipetrol, we strive to attract potential job applicants in the most entertaining and creative way possible. We are therefore delighted to receive another trophy recognizing our work in HR marketing. The recruitment campaign was primarily aimed at job seekers in cinemas and shopping centres, where visitors were surrounded by our brand from the parking lot to the escalators and the cinema auditorium. There, viewers could watch recruitment spots inspired by movie trailers. Until the big reveal, they had no idea they were watching a recruitment video," says Michał Chmiel, HR Director of the ORLEN Unipetrol Group, commenting on the latest success in the tenth annual Recruitment Academy Awards. The jury particularly praised the innovative approach of the dynamic campaign entitled "NEPOSTRADATELNÍ" (INDISPENSABLE), which was inspired by an action movie. The award also recognized the recruitment campaign's connection to sports activities supported by the ORLEN Unipetrol Foundation. This strengthens the company's image as a dynamic company that promotes an active lifestyle and social responsibility.
In addition to winning the Recruitment Campaign of the Year category, the ORLEN Unipetrol Group also achieved an excellent ranking in the Referral Programme of the Year category. The company was among the top three finalists. In this area, the jury evaluated the level of involvement of core employees, the quality of recommended candidates, and the creativity of the referral campaign. ORLEN Unipetrol's referral programme has proven to be one of the most effective tools for recruiting new employees. Candidates who come on the recommendation of existing employees adapt more quickly and contribute to strengthening the corporate culture.
The 10th-anniversary edition of the Recruitment Academy Awards recognized the best projects in recruitment and HR marketing. This year, the jury evaluated over 100 projects from more than 70 companies. Since 2015, the aim of the competition has been to inspire and educate companies in employee recruitment. At the same time, it seeks to highlight the best projects in HR marketing, positive employer branding, and recruitment.
