Allegro parcel lockers will also be available at ORLEN filling stations

11-09-2025

The transport company One by Allegro continues to strengthen its infrastructure on the Czech market. It has recently started installing its automated parcel machines at ORLEN filling stations. With 444 filling stations, this network is the widest network in the Czech Republic. The first lockers within the ORLEN network were placed at filling stations on Argentinská and Poděbradská streets in Prague and on Královopolská street in Brno. By the end of the year, One by Allegro plans to expand its machines to ten ORLEN filling stations throughout the Czech Republic.

The popularity of parcel machines is growing

Czech customers are increasingly opting for out-of-home delivery, as confirmed by One by Allegro’s own data – the company delivers to parcel machines at a rapidly increasing rate, mostly at the expense of traditional home delivery. Thanks to the new partnership with ORLEN stations, One by Allegro is expanding its network to include several busy locations where customers can conveniently pick up their parcels at any time, i.e. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“Parcel machines are becoming increasingly popular, and this trend is expected to continue. They bring flexibility and convenience to customers, and speed and efficiency to retailers and couriers. Our goal is to build a network that reflects people’s natural daily routines, and Orlen gas stations are a perfect example of such locations, as they are easily accessible and familiar. As expectations for dependable and well-regulated delivery services continue to grow, we’re focused on developing infrastructure that blends seamlessly into everyday life while aligning with the evolving standards,” says Tomáš Dejmek from One by Allegro.

Larger logistics network, higher customer comfort

The installation of parcel machines in the ORLEN filling station network is part of a broader strategy in which Allegro invests in its own delivery infrastructure under the One by Allegro brand. This includes not only parcel machines but also logistics hubs and their own transport capacity. The services are available to all merchants – including those not selling directly on Allegro.cz marketplace.

One by Allegro currently operates more than 790 automated parcel machines throughout the Czech Republic and is constantly expanding its network. Thanks to the new cooperation, One by Allegro will increase the total number of automated parcel machines in the Czech Republic to 801. Customers will thus be able to pick up their orders even closer to home, work or on their way to a trip, vacation or business trip.

"Installing automated parcel machines at our stations is another step in getting closer to customers of all categories. Every customer is welcome here - whether they come to refuel, have a snack, buy groceries, gifts or medicines, or pick up a newly ordered shipment," says Rostislav Moravec, director of the ORLEN filling station network. "The first parcel lockers from Allegro are already operating at filling stations on Argentinská and Poděbradská streets in Prague and on Královopolská street in Brno. By the end of the year, we want to have them at ten stations throughout the Czech Republic, and we expect to continue to expand in the coming years," he adds.

ORLEN – the international network of fuels, energy and refreshments

The ORLEN network of filling stations is a member of the ORLEN Unipetrol Group owned by the international ORLEN Group, which runs more than 3,500 fuel stations in seven Central European countries – Poland, Czechia, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Austria, and Slovakia. In Czechia, the ORLEN network comprises 444 stations with a 28.5% market share in the volume of fuels sold. The ORLEN network is a market leader in terms of both the number of sites and the volume of fuels sold. The popularity of the ORLEN brand with Czech consumers is reflected by the fact that the ORLEN network of filling stations has been awarded as the Most Trustworthy Brand in Czechia six times and as the Merchant of the Year three times.

At its stations, ORLEN offers premium Efecta fuel with a proven purifying effect and top-class Verva fuel that cares for the engine system and offers enhanced performance parameters. ORLEN sites also provide alternative fuels, including liquified petroleum gas (LPG), compressed natural gas (CNG), synthetic fuel HVO100, and battery- and hydrogen-driven e-mobility. ORLEN offers electricity at 294 charging points and operates hydrogen refuelling stations in Prague- Barrandov and Litvínov-Záluží.

The Stop Cafe concept is a significant part of the offering, being a crucial pillar in ORLEN brand’s convenience sales. In the Czech Republic, Stop Cafe is available at 361 out of 444 filling stations, i.e. at more than 80% of them. It is offered at nearly 2,500 sites within the entire international network. Stop Cafe offers a broad range of meals and food products – from popular hotdogs and coffee to more than 1,000 products, including packaged food, ready-to-serve meals, and specialities in traditional, vegetarian, and vegan versions. The offer keeps developing – the ORLEN competence centre in Prague is working on new product ranges focused on a healthy lifestyle, including breakfasts, bakery products, ready-to-serve meals, and private brand products that will react to the current trends and customer needs.

ORLEN also issues its own fuel cards, EASY and BUSINESS, and runs two mobile apps – the loyalty ORLEN app and a car care app, Mycí digi linka.
