ORLEN presents the flavours of the autumn: new hot drinks at Stop Cafe

22-09-2025

The network of ORLEN filling stations is introducing new seasonal products to its Stop Cafe offer of refreshments. At selected stations, customers can choose from three hot drinks inspired by autumn flavours – coffee specialty Apple Pie Latte, Ginger Lemon Tea, and Cloves Orange Tea. The new products will be available in the Czech Republic from 22 September, and will gradually be introduced in other markets where ORLEN operates – including Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, and Slovakia.

ORLEN is expanding its autumn offer of refreshments at filling stations. The entire Stop Cafe concept plays an increasingly important role in the development of convenience sales across European markets. “The share of refreshments in our revenue keeps growing, and customers are increasingly interested in what we can offer them at filling stations. Thus, our autumn offer was crafted to reflect the current trends and customer preferences. We expect the offer of autumn drinks to follow the summer mixed soft drinks that met with great success among our customers,” says Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz, member of the Board of Directors of the ORLEN Unipetrol Group in charge of retail in Czechia, Hungary, and Slovakia and responsible for the convenience sales development in the ORLEN Group.

Autumn drinks are designed to offer both flavour experience and functional benefits. For instance, the combination of ginger and lemon supports immunity, cloves with orange have aromatherapeutic effects, and Apple Pie Latte evokes a homely atmosphere. Hot drinks can thus both make a change on the route and be part of a healthy drinking routine, which contributes to the well-being and concentration of drivers.

The convenience sales segment is one of the key strategic objectives of the ORLEN Group. As part of the international strategy, Prague has become the competence centre for the development of refreshments and supplementary products across seven European countries. The Stop Cafe concept is now available at more than 80% of ORLEN filling stations in Czechia and at nearly 2,500 sites in the international network. Selected outlets also offer comfortable relaxation areas, Wi-Fi, and charging points for mobile devices.

The Stop Cafe offer contains more than 1,000 products – from packaged goods and ready-made meals to vegetarian and vegan variants. The portfolio also includes Fairtrade-certified coffee, which is made according to a unique formula in Belgium. In the coming months, ORLEN will present additional news focused on the modern lifestyle, reflecting current trends and demand for refreshments not only on the go, but also including new categories of breakfasts, bakery products, and products under the private Stop Cafe brand.

ORLEN – the international network of fuels, energy and refreshments

The ORLEN network of filling stations is a member of the ORLEN Unipetrol Group owned by the international ORLEN Group, which runs more than 3,500 fuel stations in seven Central European countries – Poland, Czechia, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Austria, and Slovakia. In Czechia, the ORLEN network comprises 444 stations with a 28.5% market share in the volume of fuels sold. The ORLEN network is a market leader in terms of both the number of sites and the volume of fuels sold. The popularity of the ORLEN brand with Czech consumers is reflected by the fact that the ORLEN network of filling stations has been awarded as the Most Trustworthy Brand in Czechia six times and as the Merchant of the Year three times.

At its stations, ORLEN offers premium Efecta fuel with a proven purifying effect and top-class Verva fuel that cares for the engine system and offers enhanced performance parameters. ORLEN sites also provide alternative fuels, including liquified petroleum gas (LPG), compressed natural gas (CNG), synthetic fuel HVO100, and battery- and hydrogen-driven e-mobility. ORLEN offers electricity at 294 charging points and operates hydrogen refuelling stations in Prague- Barrandov and Litvínov-Záluží.

The Stop Cafe concept is a significant part of the offering, being a crucial pillar in ORLEN brand’s convenience sales. In the Czech Republic, Stop Cafe is available at 361 out of 444 filling stations, i.e., at more than 80% of them. It is offered at nearly 2,500 sites within the entire international network. Stop Cafe offers a broad range of meals and food products – from popular hotdogs and coffee to more than 1,000 products, including packaged food, ready-to-serve meals, and specialities in traditional, vegetarian, and vegan versions. The offer keeps developing – the ORLEN competence centre in Prague is working on new product ranges focused on a healthy lifestyle, including breakfasts, bakery products, ready-to-serve meals, and private brand products that will react to the current trends and customer needs.

ORLEN also issues its own fuel cards, EASY and BUSINESS, and runs two mobile apps – the loyalty ORLEN app and a car care app, Mycí digi linka.
